Manual sieving of grains is repetitive, time-consuming, and physically demanding for farmers. - My Solution:
- Designed Scotch-yoke mechanism to motorize sieve reciprocation.
- Built low-cost prototype using wood frame, DC motor, and roller-based conveyor.
- Integrated mesh sieve + debris collection system.
- Key Deliverables/Outcomes:
- Delivered a working prototype that reduced labor and cleaning time.
